I wouldn’t care so much for the 3d cockpit, personally. It’s a gimmick. Whether or not the wireless charging would affect me boils down to a single question.

Does it have wireless android auto?

Yeah, wireless charging usually is slower than plugged in charging, but i don’t charge my phone in the car, i maintain it. I charge it before i leave the house.

This is something that annoys me in our Ateca, we have wireless charging, but i have to plug it in for android auto anyway, so it’s pointless. Vice versa, if it has wireless android auto, but you have to plug it in for charging, that’s idiotic too. It obviously is more convenient to just throw the phone in the tray for a trip up town or shopping (shopping’s almost 30 miles roundtrip for us).

If i could deal with that depends very much on the dealership. For most cars, wireless charging is a £200-£300 option, if they remove it i certainly do expect some kind of reparation. Be it an additional extra for free, like luxury carpet mats or an OEM boot liner, full tank of petrol, a flat AP reduction, etc. I’m even okay with getting creative, for example if they’d offer me a test drive weekend in a desirable car (something like the 508, maybe even the 508 PSE), i’d be okay with that too.

As is, removing spec with no sign of good will from the dealer, i’d probably cancel. Depending on my needs and what else is available on the scheme, obviously.
