    We have experienced the same here, so called Motability salespeople have been very unhelpful, especially the local Vauxhall garage, he knew nothing and couldn’t even answer questions on the automatic box. His response was, “no idea, I just put it in drive.”

    When trying to arrange a test drive of any automatic, we have just been met with don’t have one, can’t get one. MG, VW, Peugeot, Seat, Kia, Vauxhall, and Renault all the same. Same with Seat in another town where current car came from. When leaving details for callbacks to discuss Motability no-one gets back to us.

    Only helpful garage has been Honda and Hyundai, and both have enabled test drives in autos for us and I think we have finally settled on our next car regardless of what the wait turns out to be!
