    If i were you, i’d test drive the Sportage anyway. We test drove it before it came to the scheme (weeks, in fact), so that once it comes to the scheme, we could immediately order without faffing around with test drives etc.

    It also could be that (like us), you like the car but it doesn’t suit you (like it happened for us), which also helps making a decision. We’re 6 months into the waiting time for our Golf GTE, we’ll still test drive the new 308 225 in three weeks once the demonstrators become available.

    Nobody needs to inflate the demand though, demand couldn’t be higher while supply couldn’t be less. Of course prices go up, that’s how it goes.

    Oh and the reason as to why there’s no government incentives is simple, they couldn’t give less of a sh.. damn. They were full on the “free luxury sedans for damaged people” train that the daily fail started. Lets not act like the Tories did anything to help anyone but investment bankers. Don’t expect anything from a government that has nothing but disdain for poor/disabled people.
