Hi Dino I have never spoken to Hyundia UK only ever my Dealer Hyundai Crewe. To be fair he has been spot on with the information he has given me so far. My understanding, all orders from December are not due till May/June, if you were able to look back on this forum you will see similar information. It’s not just Hyundai, it appears to be all manufacturers whether on Motability or ordering a new car from anyone. I have a friend who has ordered a new E Pace Jag, in January and delivery is early November. I have another friend who ordered a Volvo xc 40 Recharge and delivery in September. They are not on Motability. So it appears to be all manufacturers. Unfortunately it’s the model world now. Waiting for anything you order new. ???

This and the comment by xz130 make a lot of sense. Last year when the grant was £2500, the premium 64kw qualified but the ultimate did not. This meant, for private buyers, a difference of around £4700, so many went for the premium which I guess meant Hyundai could build these in greater numbers, hence the shorter lead time.
