In 2013 the price on my paperwork for a top spec Citroen Berlingo Multispace/Peugeot Partner was £19,275, in 2019 for the same top of the range Berlingo/Peugeot Rifter (same car, name change) the price was £29,899, 6 years and a 50% increase, give or take, there wasn’t a semiconductor shortage or any wars raging that affected car production, just greed plain and simple.
There very much was a “war” going on. Just not one fought with guns.

Well, maybe “war” is a bit harsh a word, but to act like nothing happened between 2013 and 2019 that could have a big impact on prices is just disingenuous.
