    @Brent.  The Kona has adaptive cruise control which I use on the motorways or traffic jams where you are stopping and starting.  You can set it at the speed and distance from the car in front and it will slow down and stop and then will give you a warning that the car in front is moving so press the accelerator.

    Using regen it will not fully stop the car on it’s own but over time you will be able to judge the regen braking distances without having to use the physical brakes.  I hardly use the brakes unless it is an emergency.

    The regen is unable to fully recoup charge to the battery so you will have to charge the car.  When you learn how to use the different regen settings you will find it recoups charge going down hills, and coming up to roundabouts and junctions when you lift your foot off the accelerator.

    Once you get your car and have driven it a few times you will soon get used to how the regen works.
