I hate to have to tell you this, but it’s highly unlikely that it will only go up by 12% in October. The increase then could well dwarf the 54% increase in April. My monthly bill is going up from £220 to £335 from April, but I looked at the ‘best deal’ I could get now on a 1 or 2 year fix which, as I suspect people know, is based upon what providers think prices are likely to be over that period. I nearly fell off my chair when I saw the figure – £750 a month ?
