Once it arrives at the dealer I would go down and take some pics, especially one of the VIN number as cars have been known to go missing and the dealer’s have said it was a mistake etc, just so they can’t sell it retail and claim yours was delayed.
I did this when waiting for one a few years ago, just drove past the dealer a couple of times a day and saw it there one evening so stopped and found my car (had my name on a sticker on the windscreen) so I took pics of that and the VIN so when the dealer next day tried to tell me it hadn’t arrived I called his bluff with the pics, he got flustered and said he must have missed it, an Alhambra parked right next to the entrance door! Really!
Not saying this will happen but best safe than sorry.
