We ordered our new Hyundai Tucson in January and remarkably the dealer phoned today to say the car was on its way and they expected it earlier than they thought at the end of March. However we cannot collect the new car until mid/late April as the 3yr lease on my current car does not end until the 18th April. Seems rather frustrating that the new car will be sat for 3 weeks in the dealer because we have to wait for the full 3 years to elapse. Is this right?
Frustrating perhaps but normal practice.
