An hour is about right as ChrisK has said. My dealer has always been thorough on the handover to make sure I knew the main functions of the car. There is a lot to take in so your dealer should be on hand to explain anything ou may have missed on the handover.
The most important thing to remember is not to put your Motability Pin Number in until you are happy with the car.
