It bs as we drive rh drive cars they drive lh drives and imo has nothing to do with what they telling you it’s for. It’s all to make driving so painful and expensive that no one, wants/ can afford to do it anymore.
We are not having the breath tests in them as will be standard in the eu as they propose to do, only if you been convicted of dd will you be forced to have it fitted in the uk, what about dui or meds will you need to provide a swab evey time you stop for more than the time they allot, 15 mins i believe. so when you do your shopping you’ll need to blow again for example.
I use the adaptive cruise alot already and it has limations like all these systems do, like when it slams on the brakes so hard for no reason but it also overrides even your input if a car is turn into a road and you steer around it and it comes to a complete stop and the car behind almost crashes into you and they not very happy about it. but what can you do if the collision protection is activated. Same as this suddenly when you doing 60 mph and car then thinks your in 20 zone and brakes you to 20mph fast..
This might be another reason i leave the scheme and go back to older cars.
