Had our BP Pulse charger installed a few weeks ago. No major issues other than finding out our electric supply is “looped”. At first Western Power Distribution following the survey “just me taking photos” said we could not have a charger installed until we were un looped. Apparently we get our electric from the mains under the road and one of our neighbours gets there’s from the 100 amp main fuse holder in our meter cupboard. Not sure which one as they both have a single mains cable entering there meter cupboard, we have two!
However electrician arrived and fitted our charger.
Was surprised as had been told only terraced or semi detached house were ever looped and then in the 50s 60s and 70s. Ours is a detached built in the mid 90s!
