Either the guy lied to me, or they’re lying to you now. We literally just did it (well, three months ago).
Fact of the matter is that, if your new car gets delivered after the 16th of july, you have not ended your lease early, and that’s not me explaining that to you, that’s me telling you what the call centre guy told me.
The only thing i could think of is that the guy cancelled our contract because the current car isn’t fit for purpose anymore. Not because of new scooters or anything, but because my wifes condition worsened and she can’t sit in it for longer than half an hour before pain kicks in.
It’s a bit shocking to be honest, that they have such varying responses to very similar problems.
