I think it would be a excellent idea for motability to extend it to six or even nine months. Let’s face it, delivery times at the moment are well over six months ,so I can’t see it make any difference to motability. Unless of course, while you are waiting for delivery you still paying the same amount of money for a older car as glos guy righty makes about extending your lease.
Although in this instance, I think that paying the full benefits would be fair. I would see that as a compromise. Motability allow us to order earlier and if the car is later again then we continue to pay as normal. My issue is with two year lease extensions, where the gain is all Motability’s.
