I’m expecting delays but thing seem to be just going worst to worst and just had an email from my dealer saying, and I quote…
Just a quick update to advise the current situation with regards to your Motability Car Order.
“At present there are a number of cars showing an ESTIMATED build date for later in the year.
We believe this will change but at present I can only advise you of the current information showing on the Volkswagen ordering systems.
All my Tiguan orders placed before the model was removed from the scheme are currently estimated for an October build.
However this will be monitored and you will be updated again in a few weeks’ time.”

So 12 months to build and another month or so on top for delivery if the worst is confirmed.
If I could get an honest answer from other manufactures or dealers about delivery time I might cancel and go else where but as thing are I’d be just jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire.
I think my Motability specialist is also fed up with having to get it in the neck and covering up for the dealer/manufacture as she said she leaving VW but will let me know who the new Motability stool pigeon is as soon as she knows.
