We just had our charger (for a PHEV, so out of pocket) fitted – our car’s still half a year or more away lol. On the upside, if you’re already getting away with not using it, in summer you’ll use even less charge (no heating, battery at temp faster etc), so it appears that you get along greatly with your EV.
at least you have it now. it will give you a fair bit of comfort knowing you dont have to search out charging points all the time.
and yes the car will no doubt go further in summer time. generally doesnt get silly hot here very often and good old fashioned windows down can cool things off saving on power
