Regardless of the law, e-scooters will be ridden on the pavement, the same as bikes are. The law is unenforceable. We have had a trial going on here since last summer. Their small wheels can’t cope with the many rutted and potholed road surfaces round here and riders risk being thrown off so they use pavements and paths.
