As the price of vehicles rise which they inevitably will with inflation at 5.4% and heading towards 7% or more in the next few months, APs will have to rise to fill the gap of a PIP increase of only 3.1% in April.
As is always the case during inflation, benefits have to play catch-up and always fall behind.
Sorry for the gloom, but I can’t see any government seeing fixing the inequities of the Motability scheme as a priority…
