Not ordered an A3 either but a Golf GTD back in April of 2021. I have no build date either but seems VAG have been particulary hard hit with semi-conductor issues. Trying to get any meaningful information from VW is non existant, being part of the same group am guessing Audi are just as bad. You may get an unconfirmed build date if you do manage to speak with your dealer but they are pretty meaningless as I’ve 9 dates so far but nothing confirmed. Sorry
