No way when the time comes time to change my car i can justify such high ap’s as now. Sorry to hear your situation, which makes it even harder, personally i would not consider getting a car blind as we have to live with it for 3 years. I need an auto now. I did have the 1.6 tdi engine as the ap was alot cheaper at the time..
The mk8 i feel ain’t gonna drive much different than the mk7 it’s just the styling that’s different and the techs updated. When i had to order there was no mk 7.5’s available at all and the mk8 was not due for months, So I’ve not driven one.
I might have to ask for some help towards the ap for my next car, have you tried asking for a grant towards the ap on the golfs available if it’s a matter of you gotta change if your 5 years is up..
Personally i only keep the car for 3 years, but i duuno what i will do when it comes around either..
Not having a driveway limits gettting an ev and so does my condition. So options are very limited right now.. Might be worth speaking to MB about your situation or your local vw dealer mine has always been very helpful.
