I think for many the clincher is the home charger. The ability to charge the car in the garage or driveway, perhaps at lower overnight tariffs and only use the changing network sparingly is appealing, whilst perhaps taking advantage of the free chargers which are still available whilst shopping at the supermarket etc and the very competitive AP’s. A 300 mile range should be more than sufficient for me 99.9% of the time.
