Which engine/powertrain did you go for?
From my recent experience, it seems that the Peugeot factory builds vehicles in batches based on the engines.
When I test drove the 3008 in August I was told that the hybrids would be built in November (225) and December (300). When I eventually placed an order on September 14th these scheduled build dates had not changed.
I was kept informed of progress and received an update at the start of December to tell me that the Hybrid4 I had ordered (with a paint option and the black pack) was built and on the way to the UK. The dealer wasn’t sure if I could collect before Christmas but I was lucky enough to get the call to pick up the car on December 23rd.
Have you had any more info through since you received the email?
