AP’s really need to be looked at in my opinion. Adding optional extras has now become standard which then bumps the price up to ridiculous levels for (as mentioned) cars that aren’t particularly desirable.
I’m in the last year of my Mini Cooper S and seriously considering coming off the scheme altogether due to the lack of choice and the high AP. If anything, the lack of choice seems to be pushing APs higher.
I like the Motability scheme, but it seems to have become more worried about what Joe public says about it instead of concentrating on their customer base.
