Chris i estimate our new XC40 PHEV, whever we eventually get it, 7 months and counting, will save us in the region of £500-£800 per year, maybe more but don’t want to be too optimistic. There are big savings to be made just now, before the government, inevitably, change things. So on my figures i will save between £1500 – £2400 over the 3 years. Saving £2,400 would certainly bring the above cars into play for many so possibly there would be those that could be tempted.
We are paying an AP £3,200 for our XC40 PHEV, a bargain at current APs, so its likely a good chunk of the AP will be offset against savings in fuel.
The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
