Thank you @ChrisK for your advice. It’s looking likely I will be opting for an extension in the new year. I was advised to go down the Combo XL/Berlingo/Rifter/Caddy Maxi etc route but I am not too heavily keen on them for various reasons even though they will probably do an excellent job at fitting in both said scooter and myself, but they are incredibly boring to drive and to look at if I am honest. I’m looking for an fun, engaging drive as well as to accommodate my needs.
Another SUV I’m hoping to see if Skoda make a return with is their Kodiaq. Seat space isn’t essential so I can sacrifice the back seats to have a large boot scooter fit in, but I do feel a lot safer in a larger SUV than say a typical large car.
