Yes agreed about packages and its annoying as in my case and the VW Tiguan I have on order is I would have loved to add a heated windscreen but in the case of this model the heated windscreen is £300 plus but to add it you also have to add the mobile wireless phone charger for another £400 plus so overall £700 plus for a useful heated windscreen and a useless wireless charger that I can buy on Amazon for a fiver and plug it into a USB socket in the car.
Goes without saying I’ve forgone that option.
I wouldn’t have minded going for the Enyaq EV had it been available however having seen the standard driver dash, not the big one in the middle, and what’s looks to be a 4 or 5 inch screen with a speedo on it would of put me off had I viewed the car in a showroom.
