When I placed my order for a VW ID.3 Max Pro I downloaded all the info / specs for the car on the same day from the UK VW website. As I ordered a 2021 model year and will get a model 2022 year some things may well change “specification subject to change”.
I contacted Motability re, will the car I ordered today be the car I get in 6 or so months time. I was told if any of the standard features of the car as listed on the VW website on the day of the order were to be removed, then I could reject the car. Depends on what removed or maybe added “alloy wheel please”.
In the past I ordered a Seat Altea XL, I made the Mobility sales guy know the car must come with a real spare wheel and tyre plus all the bits and pieces. No problem he said pointing to the then paper work and showing us the same spec car with a spare wheel fitted.
Several months later on collecting our new Seat Altea XL, the paper work had changed and due to specification subject to change, the Altea XL had no spare wheel/tyre.
First nothing we can do, pointing at specification subject to change printed on the back page. Point to dealer.
No spare wheel/tyre and I am walking out the door, point to me.
It ended up with a new spare wheel/tyre and all the other bits being taken from a new Altea XL out front that was for sale, which was a few weeks older than our car.
