It’s worth watching Fifth Gear Recharged episode 3 as they test the Cupra Born against a petrol Cupra. The petrol Cupra was significantly quicker and even though they are very pro EV’s they rated petrol overall as the best propulsion for a hot hatch. In the same episode they also tested the VW ID3 which seemed to have a bit of a mixed review.
