my understanding is the AP is the addition to a 39 payment lease, so divide ap by 39 and add it to your monthly payment. It would therefore make sense to start offering fixed 5 year or 65 payment leases to lower ap to a more affordable level on certain vehicles or even all vehicles giving perhaps more that don’t take full payment. Because as I see it being old and cynical when things go up they rarely come down so the electric future will be more expensive and the 99p per litre petrol during first lockdown and the £1500 luxury all singing dancing Ap will be long forgotten.
