Hi all I’m just curious why the top spec model the ‘Ultimate’ is only £299 AP yet the SE premium is £649. What am I missing here?
Whilst no one (other than Motability and Vauxhall) knows the ‘per model, per trim level’ pricing between Vauxhall and Motability, some factors that can come into play are:
That Vauxhall want to ‘push’ their top spec model over the mid-range model
Sales of the top spec could be sluggish so Vauxhall are giving it a boost via lower pricing thus lower AP.
There could be a top spec revamp waiting in the wings, so Vauxhall want to get rid of current top spec components.
All can affect the intra-model AP’s.
Also, the second hand resale value of a top spec should be higher than a mid-spec model, so affects the future ‘trade in’ sale value at lease end.
