The World Health Organisation has published INTERNATIONAL GUIDELINES FOR CERTIFICATION AND CLASSIFICATION (CODING) OF COVID-19 AS CAUSE OF DEATH. You can download the whole document as a PDF, if you’re interested.
The figures the government publicises are not in accordance with those guidelines. The WHO have advised against using the figure of deaths withing 28 days.
The only way to find the true numbers of deaths where COVID is the cause of death is from NHS weekly figures, which it seems the Government isn’t very interested in compiling and publicising.
