    It’s not 1985 anymore. In case you haven’t noticed.

    Not to mention that £38k for a fully equipped SUV that’s dripping in tech isn’t outlandish, not even close. It’s smack bang average.

    Do not worry, a somewhat comparably spec’d X1 (not that you can spec it to that level) is still quite a bit more expensive at £46k for a non-PHEV model. And that’s the current, old model that’s due a replacement in a few months, lets see where the prices go with the new one.

    I know you want to make it about “quality”, but Kia (and Hyundai, btw) aren’t far behind german premium manufacturers anymore, and in terms of reliability they’re ahead for years now.

    Get with the times.
