Probably yeah, i just hate unrealistic predictions like that, or rather, marketing vomit.
“We decided to invent a battery with twice the range and half the charging time”, well.. Decide to invent cold fusion then, or warp drives. It’s not something that you decide to “invent”.
Gets me riled up, gives unrealistic expectations for future cars, and makes current EVs less desirable to people on the fence, since “soon” they have more range than a petrol powered car (which is absolute nonsense).
Harumph.
