I have never played with Land Rovers, let alone proper old ones – but i would assume that you can get rebuild kits for the carpotator? Might be cheaper than buying an entirely new carbonator.
After 60 years, a normal repair/clean probably won’t do much, you can clean the jets etc but i assume membranes from booster pumps, seals etc are pretty toast.
