We had the old focus around 10 years back. Build quality, equipment and looks are always good points in a Ford. Like you we need an auto estate for a wheelchair. Have a look at the Skoda Octavia hatchback and estate. They have lots of extra equipment as standard.
We currently have the Octavia Estate auto 1L eTech SE Technology. It’s 1L but has a turbo and it’s a mild hybrid which recuperates energy from the brakes and feeds it back to the engine.
Very roomy and good looking it has Sat Nav, cruise control front and rear parking sensors, collision avoidance lots of other extras.
