My BMW X1 D dropped straight away from 41 to 36 overnight from putting E10 diesel in. How is that being greener?
E10 affects unleaded only, not diesel.
Alot of people have said mpg has dropped with E10 unleaded though, including my other car, which dropped 5mpg. I’ll be trying super unleaded next, which is still E5, or Esso Supreme which is E0 and will compare the mpg. It might cost more but if I get an increase in mpg high enough it’ll be worth it.
