It seems since recent software fixes have been available 2.3 being the latest things have got much better. Like any new thing we are betta testers but going forward electric is the way to go.
I have recently ordered an ID4 for delivery Mar/Apl next year (I hope) and expect by then for glitches to be minimal, just like you get with any new car. I test drove both the ID3 and ID4 and thought both very fine vehicles. We chose the 4 in the end for it’s size more than anything else.
If a car proves problematic in the extreme yes you would be able to return as has been the case recently on here of a person returning an electric people carrier that had a host of issues.
