My experience with VW seems to bear out the above. Ordered a T-Roc 2.0L 4×4 on 6 June. Car was confirmed as built in second week of October and is now out of factory and en-route to UK. Dealer reckons I should get bum on seat by end of November. Only fear is that a private buyer walks in to dealer and says he wants it. Given the profit figures shown above, I’m sure they’d sell it to the private chap. Hope that the fact it is an “obsolete” model and the “expensive” 2.0L 4×4 with pricey adjustable suspension will mean that it isn’t in high demand.
