Similar here – heavy rain over night and really noisy (rain makes a right old racket falling onto the trees in the wood). Now it’s 12c with a light breeze, clear skies and brilliant sunshine.

I’m currently waiting for Motability to get back to me regarding whether I’ll be able to order my next car while driving under Section 88 of the Road Traffic Act. I sent my Short-term Medical Driving Licence (expired in May) for renewal at the start of March (as per DVLA instructions), Specialist confirmed he sent the details they asked for at the end of March, I rang the DVLA at the end of July to ask what was going on and was told it was just ‘Wait (and wait and wait) until they either contact me or send me the new licence’.
Having miraculously survived Q4 AP rises with ‘only’ a £100 increase to £699 (GCB + the 2 x £50 insurance rebates will just cover it all), if I can’t order without presenting a valid licence and have to wail until Q1 2022 and the Puma gets removed or priced out of reach before I can order it I shall NOT be a happy bunny.
