    I think it all depends on the type of vehicle you ‘need’.

    For me personally, the scheme is excellent… but then I do not require a huge SUV-type lump to haul a scooter or wheelchair around.

    I have been on the Motability scheme for many years now, just over 20-years in fact, and it represents very good value to me personally. Whenever I have had to contact Motability for an issue or for advice, they have always been very polite & helpful. I have never, in all those 20-plus years, had a reason to knock the scheme.

    I realise others may have had different experiences of course, but for me and me alone, the scheme has been excellent. Even now – in these different & difficult times – I have no complaints. I picked up my new Peugeot 208 GT Premium 130 a few months back and I could not be happier with it. Despite Covid, dealership closures, semiconductor chip shortages and worldwide logistical problems, I still received my car in very good time & I still smile every time I step into the beautiful cabin of my car and drive off.

    So from a purely personal point of view – what’s not to like about the Motability scheme?
