I had a close call the other day. I absolutely caned it all the way to London to collect my wife (from Nottingham) with the intention of topping up just for a few minutes on the way back. The services I tried on the way home were offline but the range matched my distance home with about 10 miles spare. As I intended to drive home quite sedately I thought, ah, we’ll be ok.
And we were, but only just!
Not bad considering the very heavy right foot and AC running high for most of the journey, for 270 miles
