    Us too. It’s very clearly a long shot away from the current Sportage (which is a good thing in my book, the current one does look a bit.. dated). In terms of engine, since none are confirmed, really – we’d be hoping for either the 150hp petrol (if they offer it in automatic, in the Tucson, the sister car, it’s only available as manual), otherwise the 230bhp hybrid automatic available in the Tucson, each in GT Line. I actually am not 100% certain whether or not they introduce all new engines or use the Tucson stuff.

    We’d also take a sincere look at this new iMT thing, which appears to be (?) a “clutchless” manual transmission. It does have a clutch, but not a clutch pedal – while still having an H pattern gear lever. It does some wizardry and witchcraft, it appears. I’d tolerate that, too, depending on the engine choice/spec.
