Had a puncture on the drive on previous vehicle. Called RAC, came out within the hour as we had an appointment later in the day. RAC mechanic did a temporary repair so we could arrange a replacement at KF. He said that if he could not repair he would arrange recovery to KF and a loan car. So always call RAC if you need car , and can’t wait for KF.
