Always check with the dealer. Some will register the car early to meet sales targets. Normally cars are registered on the day of collection or a day or two prior as this allows the dealer to unregister the car if the sale does not go ahead. Those who register more than 7 days in advance run the risk of being left with a second hand car should the motabiliy customer not go ahead.
