Rain now but drizzly misty stuff.
@Joss, I’m now using a lighter 6’6” rod with a light baitcaster reel..

Margin fishing for me, where as my Son was casting further out, or even further along the margin, so lure longer in the water I guess, slightly larger lure too..
He brought attention with his catch to other people fishing, they came over watching, no scales but it was agreed it was into the low 20lbs, mine between 1st 10lbs, 2nd 13-15lbs..
I had a tiny Jack about 12 inches long, but that don’t count so much..
Great morning though for a few hours fishing, we done well..
