    As with any car no matter what makes the wheels go round it’s important for customers to allow for if the disabled person is the driver and will use the car alone or they have someone to load and unload the wheelchair / scooter on every journey.

    So far for myself there are no EV’s, other than short range vans, capable of carrying a fully assembled scooter plus loading hoist and 4 or 5 useable passenger seats but like I said, if I had someone with me 24/7 that could dismantle and load and unload the scooter there would be loads of suitable EV’s on Motability for me.

    Not sure having never had one that I could handle the charging cables as over the years I’ve broken many mobile phones trying to insert the charging cable but now with tech moving on I use wireless charging and no more broken phones.
