I agree Mitch much work is required to get to a place where everyone will be confident taking an EV on a long journey, but for those who can have a home charger or on street charging the picture is very different. I would only need to charge away from home if on holiday, say once or twice a year. We holiday in the UK and many hotels and some holiday let’s have EV chargers fitted so no real problem there. If however you travel a lot and need to charge “on the hoof” then I can see it being more of a problem but not fantastically impossible.
The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
