I used to keep a Stop & Go tubeless tyre plug kit in the car, used it for years on my motorcycles, plug a hole in a few minutes, use the compressor that came with the car and you are good to go.
The problem is that its much easier to fit if you remove the tyre on a car and you don’t get a jack with cars without a spare.
The last time I had a puncture, in 2016, I just used the “temporary repair kit” aka gunk in the boot, was at Kwik Fit in under 15 mins & got a new tyre fitted.
In life, it's not who you know that's important, it's how your wife found out.
