So I went to Asda came out to the car there was a nail in my tyre it was flat it was about 3:30 . Tried to get the number for breakdown I thought it was AA got though to them to find out no its RAC so I eventually got the RAC number it was 4 pm now they said they’ll send someone , great. At 5pm motability called said they’ve not allocated me anyone yet cause it’s so busy they said it could be up to 3 to 4 hours wait. They said your about 15min from your home we can get you a taxi to take you home. and another taxi to take you back when they’re at your car ,, I said no it’s ok cause I’ll probably just get home and need to come back they said if you change your mind let use know. Kwik fit was just 5 min away I called them to see if they could come out they said , they shut at 6 RAC man called said he’d be 10 min he arrived at 7 , took out the big nail filled the hole with something a temporary fix till I take it in to kwikfit tomorrow.. I got home just before 8 .. im so drained and tiered It’s no ones fault I guess , but what a ordeal not the service I expect or like. just like to say the rac mechanic was great
We had similar problem in 2019 the undertray had come lose under the car, the usual bull high volume of calls, several times they phoned and cancelled our time slot. The wife told them I needs my medication, they informed they would arrange a taxi at our expenses ?.
In the end I drove it home jacked it up and refitted the undertray
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
