@Lord Muc – I hadn’t thought about the possibility of an early termination of my contract for the X1, it makes sense. I did explain to Motability that I want to keep fuel costs as low as possible but as I need an SUV, I’m pretty much snookered!. The adviser at Motability told me that they don’t take fuel costs into account but I have heard the opposite from other people.
@Just2Fish – I did look at the Kona and really wanted one, especially last quarter when it was £499 advance payment! Unfortunately the boot isn’t big enough to fit my wheelchair and/or my walking frame so it’s not really an option for me. So frustrating!!! Especially as I hear the amazingly low cost of your electric for your journey into Central London!. As other people on this forum have said, we need larger electric SUV’s like Skoda Enyak.
